India, 9th April: Earlier this week, Messe München India announced the acquisition of Smart Cards Expo and several co-located shows from Electronics Today. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The co-located shows include IoT India Expo, e-Security Expo, RFid India Expo, Biometrics India Expo, e-Payments Expo and Mobile Payments India. The 2017 edition was held in New Delhi and it featured over 100 exhibitors from 15 countries, and attracted almost 3,400 visitors.
