Bid Fund secures US$134m of events for Australia
Australia, 18th February: Tourism Australia’s Business Events Bid Fund Programme (BFP) has reportedly doubled the value of business events secured in Australia in the past three months reaching A$187 million (US$134 million).
Since the launch of the BFP in July 2018, a total of 14 new events have been confirmed for Australia. Since the launch of BFP, the number of applications received from the Australian business events industry was almost 80.
