Sydney, 27th February: In 2018, the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has reported that it generated A$820 million (US$578 million) in direct expenditure, compared to A$785 million (US$553 million) recorded in 2017.

According to ICC Sydney, 72% of the total expenditure was generated by international and interstate visitors amounting at A$590 million (US$416 million). There were more than 1.57 million overnight stays in Sydney and ICC’s activities created an estimated 5,250 full-time equivalent jobs for local economy.
