Hong Kong, 27th April: Last week, Hong Kong-based Global Sources opened its Global Sources Fashion event at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). Positioned as Hong Kong’s largest fashion sourcing event, the show ran from 27th to 30th April featuring fashion accessories, footwear, fabrics, underwear and apparel.

Key highlights of this event included: the New Rising Designer Wholesale Zone showcasing unique creations from young and up-and-coming designers in Hong Kong and other regions; and the Fashion Tech Zone highlighting tech-enabled fashion products.

Running co-located with Global Sources Fashion, the Global Sources Lifestyle show presented “creative, curated and innovative gifts, premiums and home products.” Highlights included: the Meet the Millennials zone which source offered a selection of innovative products from young designers; the Cool Design Gallery which showcased the some of the regions most innovative, award-winning products curated by the Global Sources Lifestyle team.
