Paris/Hong Kong, 13th June: UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, announced that Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited (HML) has won the UFI Sustainable Development Award 2019 for its plastic reduction initiative, “Think Before Plastic”.

According to HML, in the first six months after the campaign was launched in July 2018, the company eliminated the use of 883,000 pieces of disposable plastic cutlery, 176,500 disposable plastic straws and 67,100 disposable plastic meal boxes.
