Construction begins on EXCO’s 2nd hall in Daegu
Daegu, Korea, July: Last month, Daegu City and EXCO held a groundbreaking ceremony to begin work on the ‘EXCO 2nd Exhibition Hall.’ EXCO opened in 2001 and it is the major exhibition and convention centre in Daegu, however, the venue has several wall-bound events and there is a confirmed booking of an upcoming large event – the 2021 World Gas Conference.
The new exhibition hall will have a total capacity of 40,471 m2 with one floor underground and two floors above ground. The new hall is scheduled to be completed in February 2021. The construction costs are estimated to be 269 billion Korean Won (US$269 million).
