Hong Kong, 27th August: Following more than ten weeks of large-scale protests in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association (HKECIA) has released a statement to assure all visitors and exhibitors attending trade exhibitions and conferences in Hong Kong that events are running smoothly and without interruption.

During June, July and August, all exhibitions ran smoothly without interruption. The Hong Kong Book Fair attracted nearly one million visitors over seven days, while Food Expo and its three concurrent shows brought more than 2,100 exhibitors and nearly 450,000 visitors to Hong Kong.
