Los Angeles & West Conshohocken, 1st October: AEG Facilities, LLC, the venue management affiliate of Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc., and SMG, a portfolio company of Onex, formally completed the combination of their businesses. The two organisations will create a new, standalone global facility management and venue services company, ASM Global.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company has corporate offices in London, Manchester, Brisbane, and Sao Paulo. It operates and manages arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibition centres, performing arts centres, theatres and other venues with more than 300 facilities under management across five continents.
