Paris/Bangkok, 6th November: UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, opened its 2019 Global Congress in Bangkok on 6th November with more than 550 registered participants from over 50 countries making this year’s edition one of the largest in UFI’s history.

At the General Assembly, which preceded the Global Congress, UFI’s 2019 President Craig Newman chaired the meeting and he highlighted the fact that member companies now exceed 800 for the first time in UFI’s 95-year history. In the past year, some 1,400 industry professionals attended UFI events held around the globe. The number of delegates grew by 8% over the 2018 figure.
