Worldwide, 1st June: Several exhibitions have now been held in China including in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province. The Hunan Auto Show ran from 30th April to 5th May at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Centre. More than 100 car brands showcased some 600 vehicles at the show covering an exhibition area of 60,000 m2.

In Shenzhen, the new mega venue there, Shenzhen World, plans to host the 28th China International Gifts, Handicrafts, Watches & Houseware Fair organised by Reed Huabo – a Reed Exhibitions subsidiary. It will run from 20th to 23rd June and it is expected to feature over 7,000 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors.

Authorities in the German state of Hesse have given approval for the Frankfurt Book Fair to be held at Messe Frankfurt and other locations in the city in October with some special health and safety measures in place. In the U.S., the state of Texas will allow all exhibition and convention centres to operate at 50% capacity, effective immediately.
