Melbourne, 10th March: The Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre (MCEC) has essentially been close since COVID-19 restrictions came into effect in early 2020. The venue, however, is now cleared to return to hosting physical exhibitions. The first will be the Gift & Lifestyle Fair running from 20th to 22nd March.

As of 20th March, MCEC will be able to host events of up to 10,000 patrons per event space per day, at a maximum capacity of 75%. For events of more than 5,000 patrons, time-based sessions apply, with a time-gap between sessions. Exhibitions can operate two daily sessions at a maximum of 5,000 per session.
