Bangkok limits in-person meetings
Bangkok, 26th April: Following a new spike in cases in Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has put a stop to exhibitions. The BMA has issued an order restricting in-person meetings and gatherings to 20 people or less for the next two weeks (until 9th May). The order could be extended beyond that date.
Several public venues have been ordered to close for the next 14 days, including meeting and banquet venues (both in and outside of hotels), exhibition halls, convention facilities, sports stadiums and outdoor event facilities. Schools, bars and massage facilities have been closed for a week, and most companies in the city have issued work-from-home (WFH) orders.
