Pico’s profit jumps 171%
Hong Kong, 25th January: Hong Kong-listed Pico Far East Holdings reported its annual results for the year ended 31st October 2021. The company posted revenues of US$521 million, up 18% year-on-year. Pico’s net profit jumped an impressive 171% during the year, amounting to US$18 million. Diluted earnings per share in the year were HK$0.1105 (US$0.014).
More than 76% of Pico’s revenues (US$401 million) were generated from its exhibition, event & brand activation business. This represents year-on-year growth of 28%. Pico’s second largest business segment, museum & themed environment, generated US$63 million, accounting for 12% of total revenues. This segment dropped 22% compared with the previous year. The remaining revenues were generated from Pico’s visual branding activation (US$52 million), and its meeting architecture activation business (US$4.9 million).
