Hong Kong, 29th September: Last week, Hong Kong-based exhibition and event organiser, NOVA Group (formerly known as Mega Expo) announced its financial results for the year ended 30th June 2023. The company reported total revenues of US$5.3 million, a decrease of 63% compared with the previous year. The company’s loss widened to a rather large US$65 million, compared with a loss of US$16 million last year.

The company did not generate revenues from its exhibitions & events business. The company has not organised any exhibitions since 2020 due to COVID-19 and the travel restrictions which effectively closed Hong Kong during that period.
