Kuala Lumpur, 4th July: Construction on the Sabah International Convention Centre is expected to be completed by the end of 2018 and the venue is scheduled to be in operation by January 2019.

The new centre is being developed by the Yayasan Sabah Group. It features a site area of 92,000 m2. The Sabah International Convention Centre will be a five-storey building with a column-free convention hall of 5,200 m2 and will also feature a performing arts hall with permanent seating for 1,200 people.
