Sydney, 20th February: After opening in December 2016, the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has reported an estimated economic impact in New South Wales of A$785 million (US$614 million) during its first year of operations.

In 2017, ICC Sydney hosted 36 major international events (attracting 41,800 delegates), 151 national conventions (attracting 141,000 delegates) and 71 exhibitions events. The venue’s management also reported that it has secured 1,300 major national and international events through to 2026 and expects to post strong performance in 2018 and beyond.
