Alibaba.com opens platform to U.S. suppliers
China, 23rd July: The Alibaba Group’s B2B platform, Alibaba.com, plans to open its platform to manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors in the U.S.
Originally, Alibaba.com was only open to suppliers in China allowing them to connect with buyers in overseas markets. As of this month, small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the U.S. can begin selling on the Alibaba.com platform as well.
