Alibaba to open data centers in India and Indonesia

Shanghai, 10th June: The Alibaba Group’s cloud computing arm, Alibaba Cloud, recently announced at its Computing Conference in Shanghai that the company plans to establish two new data centres in Mumbai and Jakarta in the current fiscal year (ending on 31st March 2018).

In Indonesia, Alibaba Cloud will enhance the local IT infrastructure using Alibaba Cloud’s global data center network. In India, Alibaba Cloud has partnered with Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a subsidiary of Reliance Communications to access Alibaba Cloud Express Connect via GCX’s CLOUD X Fusion.
