UBM’s Asian CPhI events to top 100,000 attendees
/Asia, 5th July: UBM EMEA’s series of pharma-focused events have reportedly attracted an estimated 100,000 attendees across all of its 2017 editions. These events include: CPhI South East Asia, CPhI Japan, CPhI & P-MEC China, CPhI Korea and CPhI & P-MEC India.
CPhI South East Asia 2017 was held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) from 21st to 24th March. The Indonesian event attracted over 5,000 attendees and 260 exhibitors. Later in April, CPhI Japan 2017 ran from 19th to 21st April at Tokyo Big Sight and featured 500 exhibitors and over 20,000 visitors. CPhI & P-MEC China 2017 was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 19th to 23rd June and attracted more than 40,000 visitors.
The upcoming CPhI Korea 2017 will be held from 22nd to 24th August at COEX in Seoul. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees and 160 exhibitors. Finally, in November, CPhI & P-MEC India 2017 will be held at two venues, the MMRDA Grounds and the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BEC), from 27th to 30th November and that edition is expected to feature in excess of 40,000 participants.
