AIPC appoints Aloysius Arlando as new president

Asia, 7th July: The International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) recently held its annual general assembly at ICC Sydney. At that time, the association announced the appointment of its new president, Aloysius Arlando, Chief Executive of SingEx Holdings. Arlando will succeed Geoff Donaghy, who steps down after a four-year term as president.

AIPC represents a global network of more than 180 of the world’s leading convention centres in 59 countries – with a particularly strong presence in Europe. AIPC also appointed new directors to its board including: David Pegler, Chief Executive of ExCeL London and Peter King, CEO of Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
