SingEx’s acquires stake in Chinese organiser

Singapore/Guangzhou, 18th July: SingEx Holdings has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in an event organiser and “event business solutions provider” in China. Worldex is a Guangdong-based organiser. Singex has acquired the stake from Fiera Milano. As a result of the deal, SingEx has formed a new subsidiary, Worldex-SingEx (Guangzhou).

Under the new subsidiary, SingEx plans to expand into markets in Southeast Asia, India and China. Under the Food Hospitality World China (FHW) brand, Worldex-SinEx plans to build a portfolio of imported food tradeshows in China in collaboration with food import associations, trade councils, logistics and ecommerce companies.
