Messe Frankfurt acquires two events in Thailand

Thailand, 12th February: Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd has acquired the Thailand Lighting Fair and the Thailand Building Fair to expand its Light + Building brand. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The two fairs have been supported by Messe Frankfurt since the first editions in 2015 and both events will become part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building portfolio. The next edition will be held from 8th to 10th November 2018 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) and will run concurrently with Secutech Thailand, which is focused on security, smart homes and fire and safety products. It is expected to feature approximately 165 exhibitors, occupying an exhibition space of about 10,000 m2.
