New facilities to open next year at Melbourne Showgrounds

Melbourne, 18th December: The Melbourne Showgrounds will open new, additional facilities next year, adding more than 2,500 m2 to the venue.

The newly expanded facilities include a 1,950 m2 pillar-less room for functions and exhibitions and a 600 m2 foyer. According to the Melbourne Showgrounds, the new facilities will be able to accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a sit-down gala-dinner or 1,800 guests for cocktail or theatre-style events.
