Messe Düsseldorf appoints new Head of Trade Fair Press

Düsseldorf, 1st January: International trade fair organiser, Messe Düsseldorf, has appointed Dietmar Thomas as its Head of Trade Fair Press Department, effective from 1st January 2019. Thomas replaces Eva Rugenstein, former Head of Trade Fair Press Department, who retired after 25 years with the company.

Prior to joining Messe Düsseldorf, Thomas worked for the Publicis Group where he has established and managed an editorial department. In the new role, Thomas will be responsible for the communications of all of Messe Düsseldorf’s trade fair products. He will report to Dr. Christian Plenge, Division Director of Digital Strategy & Communications.
