Alibaba Cloud opens second data center in Indonesia

Jakarta, 9th January: Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, the largest e-commerce company in China, has announced the launch of its second data center in Indonesia which will double the company’s local capacity.

According to the company, Alibaba Cloud is the only global public cloud platform with local data centers in Indonesia. Alibaba Cloud stated that due to strong customer demand, the company has opened its second data center after the first one was opened just 10 months ago. The two centers provide Indonesian customers with highly reliable and stable cloud services. The second centre will also strengthen its disaster recovery capabilities.
