Kunming flower expo puts large venue to use
/Kunming, 13th January: In China’s second and third tier cities, there is no shortage of under-used exhibition venues that are simply too large for the market that the venues are meant to serve. One of the best examples of this is the 310,000 m2 Kunming Dianchi Convention & Exhibition Center (DCEC).
Just once each year, the DCEC is put to good use. The week the promotion for the 21st Kunming International Flower Expo of China (KIFE) officially began. At this year’s event several countries will be highlighted as key global exporters including The Netherlands, Kenya, Ethiopia, Colombia and Ecuador. KIFE covers more than 50,000 m2 and features over 400 leading floral companies from 18 countries. It typically attracts more than 35,000 professional visitors.
