Messe München cancelled 20+ events in 2020

Munich, 9th February: Germany-based Messe München reported projected revenues of €95 million in 2020, which is 70% below its original target, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Messe München cancelled more than 20 major events during the year.

In Germany, six of its 15 planned (physical) trade fairs were held and a total of 7,056 exhibitors and more than 288,000 visitors attended those fairs. Meanwhile, 15 trade fairs abroad were able to take place, drawing 10,747 exhibitors and nearly 500,000 visitors.
