New exhibition venue to open near Nagoya, Japan

Japan, 25th October: Japan will add a new exhibition venue to its portfolio in 2019 – just before the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. A ground-breaking ceremony was held last month as work began on the Aichi International Exhibition Center which will feature 60,000 m2 of gross indoor space.

The new venue will be located near Nagoya next to the Chubu Centrair International Airport on “Airport Island.” The venue will feature two halls. Hall A will be a pillar-free hall with capacity of 10,000 m2, while Hall B will be a large hall which can be partitioned into five halls of 10,000 m2 each.
